Rex Manufacturing has the engineering capability to design and manufacture standard and specialty dry type transformers and related magnetic products. Power transformers to 8 MVA and 150KV BIL. All Rex Manufacturing products are CSA certified and most are UL listed.

Dry Type Transformers
Single Phase and Three Phase ventilated General Purpose, Drive Isolation and Autotransformers. Ventilated transformers are cooled by circulating the surrounding air through its windings. Rex also manufactures Epoxy Encapsulated Dry Type Transformers for Hazardous Loactions.

Dry Type Power Transformers
Rex Manufacturing produces high quality dry type industrial power transformers with primary voltages ranging from 2.5 kV to 34.5 kV. Available with VPI or VPE windings.

Cast Coil Transformers
Offer the greatest degree of protection against the presence of atmospheric pollutants affecting the performance and life expectancy of the transformer.

Control Transformers
Industrial control transformers are used to convert the available supply voltage to the voltage that is required to supply industrial control circuits and motor control loads.

Line and Load Reactors
Inductors placed at the input and output of electrical equipment, can provide protection and improve performance. Line Reactors absorb many power line disturbances which could damage or shut down your inverters, variable speed controllers or other voltage sensitive equipment.
